Mercury Conjunct Mars Transit: Effects By House

Transiting Mercury will conjoin Mars, between October 10 – November 16, 2025. These conjunctions only occur every two years. Mercury is consistently undervalued in astrology.  This an egregious mistake.  When you add Mars to Mercury, cars and minds careen around recklessly.  I have this conjunction and the injury I’ve caused with my mouth is incalculable!  Not that there isn’t an upside! I mean to stress, this transit is not a small potatoes type deal.

The house(s) where this transit will take place with be HOT and BUSY.  The mind does rest, with Mars egging it on. To best use this energy, think about what you want.  Do this now, so you have some idea what you’re driving for!

Mercury and Mars transiting your 1st house: You’re going to want to lead!  You’re likely to be seen as pushy and impatient, as you push your ideas or opinions. This can cause problems with partners; also with your family and your job.  You may not like this, but it is your self-interest, to try to see the other person’s point of view.  This is true, even if they are slow!

Mercury and Mars transiting your 2nd house: This is a money house. The first thing that comes to mind, is stock trading. Not that you should do this. I’m suggesting Mercury and Mars in this house bring a manic-type energy to the usually stable 2nd house.  You may also overspend.  You want money and you’ll try to think you might get it… or you have money, how fast can you spend it (trade it).  Risk may come into play as well. This is brash, ballsy energy.

Mercury and Mars transiting your 3rd house: Lots of hopped up communication. You’re likely to be a smart-ass. Not judging! I like that!  Also, fast writing, fast reading, interaction with siblings and neighbors. Also, lots of short trips, short calls, texts.  Very likely to blow your top, when put on hold! Brainstorming mastermind, 24 hours a day. Plus gossip, hot off the presses! Road rage a possibility.  Sexual thoughts pop up.

Mercury and Mars transiting your 4th house: Fights at home. You will probably be the one who starts them. ::ducks::  Lots of family phone calls, including backstabbing in some cases. Or… an ideal time to clean our your home, like some kind of speed demon.

Mercury and Mars transiting your 5th house: Lots of dates.  Some kind of fresh take on fun dating or sex for recreation.  No mincing of words. Super creative.  Whatever your talent may be, this energy will give it is smart, sharp edge. Hopped up sex drive!

Mercury and Mars transiting your 6th house: If it goes well, you’ll be incredibly productive at work.  You may be juggling more than one job. Working and being a caregiver, or some other combination.  You WILL be busy.  If it goes poorly, you will worry yourself into illness.  Luckily, the energy you need will be there, but I won’t like.  This will be a demanding transit.  Expect to run… the whole time. The tactic here is not be your own enemy, because people will be shooting at you at this time as well. Ask me how I know! Oh this is the transit that proves, “If you want something done, give it to the busy person!”  Also, thinking about sex at work… affairs.

Mercury and Mars transiting your 7th house: You think your partner is an obnoxious dick, and he/she may be, but chances are, you are as bad or worse. PROJECTION, baby! Partner set charges and point fingers. If you want to stay “clean” here, watch your side of the street like a hawk.  Also, expect attacks from random people, that your don’t even know. This transit should be named, “Blame the other person, regardless.  Think of  way!”

Mercury and Mars transiting your 8th house: This can be a great transit as you’ll have the courage and the intelligence to dig into any psychological issues you may have.  You will also be able to see people naked, but I’d not focus on that, as it’s a waste or time.  You may become obsessed, but even if this happens, it will probably still be productive.   Bringing brains into the 8th house is always good.  Don’t waste this magnificent transit!

Mercury and Mars transiting your 9th house: Unquenchable drive to acquire true knowledge. This will be a great transit that seeing you diving down and reaching out to learn the truth.  You’re likely to cross paths with a guru(s) and may teach as well.   Pontificating – you, them or both!  This will also be a time when you’re more tolerant to risk.

Mercury and Mars transiting your 10th house: Ambitious boss who talks too much. “Loose lips, sink chips,” they told us, when I worked for, Frito Lay. Take care not to be a pushy megalomanic. If you think tactically and keep a handle on yourself, this can go very well.  If you act like an ass… you will be in plain view, for all to see!

Mercury and Mars transiting your 11th house: You’re likely to dominate your friend group, if you have friends that is.  Not being snarky. Many people are isolated.  If you are one of them, this would be a good time to push to make a connection.  Online or off, right?   You may also invest some time, figuring what your future might look like.  Your wishes, hopes and dreams.

Mercury and Mars transiting your 12th house: This transit may activate your dreams… and they may be violent.  If that happens, you want to keep a cool, analytical head.  What’s trying to come through.  You may also get literal orders, from literal, God. If this happens, I would obey, with your hesitation. Demons can also come through, so be discerning.  If you’re not sure, check with a Virgo.  You do not want to take a leap of faith into the fire!  Bottom line, you’re an open channel… that is pulsating.  Discern, discern, discern.
